History
12 years ago, in January of 1997, Lynn Young founded a massage school in Madison, Wisconsin. Over the next several years A SpiriTouch Institute became one of the most respected programs for massage therapy in the country. After devoting most of her life and energy to SpiriTouch, Lynn sold her school and spent the next years of her life focusing on her family and her own personal growth. With her children now grown, she has decided to give birth to a new school, Inspirit Institute.
In January, 2010, Inspirit Institute will begin it’s first massage class in Dubuque, Iowa. Drawing on the knowledge of the past and the dreams for the future, Inspirit has a unique vision for a purpose that will transform how we view our world. The commitment to a quality education will not only meet, but exceed industry standards.
Facilities and Location
Inspirit Institute (I.I.) is located in Fountain Park Creative Arts and Business Center, in Dubuque, Iowa. Dubuque is a growing community, rich in Midwest beauty. Fountain Park itself, is home to many synergistic businesses. Conveniently located on Asbury Road, Fountain Park sits back off the main street, surrounded by trees.

The beautiful 3,850+ square feet that makes up the school includes:
a large, open training room for classes- an on-site, quiet library
- a private treatment room, that is available for student use
- a student kitchen area
- staff offices
At I.I. we have convenient and free, off-street parking. Our parking lot is large, well-lit, and well maintained.
